CIPC Domain Transfers
Do you need professional e-mail addresses?
The South African Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) offers it’s customers the ability to secure matching domain names (if available) when one registers one’s business. As with your CIPC business registration, your domain name is only valid for one year.
CIPC customers needing professional e-mail addresses linked to their parked domain (such as info@yourbusiness.co.za ) will need to transfer their domain to a ZARC Accredited Registrar as the CIPC is unable to offer these services.
We can assist with this procedure and provide you with e-mail only hosting or email and webhosting services.
The ownership of your domain will not change. Rather the routing address will simply be updated to point to your new mail and/or webserver rather than a non-routable destination.
